Italian artist Roberto Ghezzi was born in Cortona in 1978. The young artist began his artistic training in sculpture and portraiture under the guidance of his father and grandfather. The talented artist studied at the Istituto d’Arte Piero della Francesca Arezzo and at the famous Accademia delle Belle Arti Florence. Ghezzi’s work was recently included in the prestigious 50th publication of the Catalogue of Modern Art organized by the art critic Professor Giovanni Faccenda. Ghezzi’s powerful work is at the intersection of abstraction, landscape painting and expressionism. Often rendered in monochromatic oceanic palettes, the work at times, has a sense of absence, and an endlessly evocative quality.Ghezzi has been the subject of numerous solo shows as well as participation in group exhibitions at the Palazzo Ferretti, Art Club, Tuscany, Matalon Museum, Milan and Chiostro del Bramante, Roma. He lives and works in Cortona. We are very pleased to offer our discerning collectors Ghezzi’s works, a modern master of the 21st century.
