Daniele Ricci was born in 1962, Genoa. Ricci’s subjects are diverse, bird’s eye views of colourful city streets, with icon symbols of each metropolis, fantastic scenes of celebration, portraits of equestrians, figural scenes, as well as one of his favorite themes –Pinocchio. The artist’s brushwork has a dynamic quality, incorporating the movement of Futurist work, the vivid striations of Expressionist painting, the slices of light of Pointillism. Busy metropolises in monochromatic blues capture a sense of rainy frenetic city life. Ricci is the recipient of the prestigious contest "Premio Gronchi". Special group exhibits include work in il Carrousel du Louvre in Paris, December 2009. He lives and works in Castagneto, Carducci.Ricci’s work is immensely popular, and evocative and we are pleased to offer special holdings of his work.
